The structural body of work behind RESET.
This is the deeper architecture behind Identity Integration Science™ — its origin, chronology, framework relationships, research context, and structural positioning.
02The Origin
I lived the problem first. I named it second.
I always knew I would be successful. What I could not see was the hidden disruption I would carry while becoming the person capable of holding it.
For seven consecutive years, loss, grief, profound change, and experiences that brought life and death unusually close changed the terms of my life while life continued requiring me to function.
I did what I had spent decades doing inside complex systems. I observed. I documented. I looked for the breakdown beneath the visible outcome.
Clinical care addressed what it was designed to address. But one question remained mine:
Why am I experiencing internal strain when my mind still feels clear?
That question changed everything. I began examining the relationship between performance, identity, and the interior life. That is where Identity Integration Science™ began.
03The Chronology
The work began before it had a name.
- 2003
Early Observation
Circles of Synergy™ became an early structure for observing the human experience across leadership, relationships, adversity, growth, and change.
- 2017
Structured Coaching Analysis
Structured coaching analysis began through my role as a Board of Director Quality Coaching Advisor supporting implementation of a Department of Defense coaching program, with direct observation and documentation of development and performance.
- 2021
Lived + Clinical Integration
The COVID disruption brought lived experience, health disruption, clinical care, identity change, and earlier systems observations into direct integration.
- 2026
Public Activation
The accumulated observation, documentation, research, lived experience, and interdisciplinary integration became publicly activated through Identity Integration Science™ and The RESET Studios™.
04The Architecture
Identity Integration Science™ is the interdisciplinary body of work I created to examine what happens when disruption affects performance, identity, internal continuity, regulation, and the interior life.
The disciplines around me could explain different parts of the human experience. What I was searching for was a structural way to examine what happens when performance continues while identity, internal continuity, regulation, roles, grief, and the interior life are changing underneath it. That became Identity Integration Science™.

Identity Integration Science™ developed from the intersection of lived experience, professional systems work, observation, and documented research across more than 25 years in business strategy, systems analysis, finance, risk, and leadership.
The work does not claim to be the only framework addressing the human experience. It is the structural map I built when I could not find one that held the whole question together.

As the body of work develops, selected research responses, case documentation, and evaluation context will be made available here. Proprietary scoring thresholds, implementation methods, and internal decision rules are not disclosed publicly.
